Zimbabwe openers Coventry & Taylor started the innings in blazing manner, with Coventry’s flamboyant Six over Cover Point was a clear indication that Zimbabwe will fight till the end but a wrong attempted hook short cost him his wicket, After his dismissal Australian bowlers Started to settle down & Lee, Tait & Michelle Johnson bowled some superb spells, deceiving the batsman’s on lot of occasion. The extreme pace & discipline of Ausie bowlers assisted their cause & Zimbabwe were 44/4 in 14 overs at a point, At this stage Chigumbura & Williams started to re-built their innings but after the dismissal of both of them ,despite of some stubborn resistance from the lower order ,Zimbabwe had no chance to come back in the game ,Zimbabwe ended up with 171 all out in 47th over ,Michelle Johnson with 4/19 was the pick of the bowlers but Man of the match was awarded to Watson for his Match winning 79 runs
